Following Robotnik's attack on Green Hills, Tom Wachowski is called out to a local farm, where he finds a tiny, newborn hedgehog. Naturally, he and Maddie take him in until they can find his mother... Following the destruction of Solaris, a fragment awakes as an infant hedgehog in the care of humans... and apparently now having Sonic and his two friends as his new older brothers... ...This is going to be interesting.

This book takes place after the events in the movie! So, this is the Sonic the Hedgehog movie starring him and his best friend... you! You've been friends with Sonic, but until then Longclaw, aka your guardian, had to take care of you troublemakers! Your hometown had been attacked by echidna warriors, and you had to evacuate, risking her life as you both managed to escape to a planet called 'Earth'. You have been living in the cities of Green Hills, with your pal, the "Blue Devil". Residing in a fancy little cave, watching movies outside Donut Lord and Pretzel Lady's house and stuffing up some cheetos... Nothing could possibly go wrong... isn't that so? Well, turns out that a quite sudden adventure awakens, leaving Sonic and you to go on a journey to find your rings which have been lost in San Francisco... However, little did you know... this might've been the journey how these hedgehogs fell in love.

Alex Wachowski is an average 12-year-old girl, living a normal life with her parents in Green Hills, Montana. But never did she expect her life to flip upside down in just a few days... After her father accidentally causes a mysterious blue hedgehog to become stranded on Earth, the pair must help the creature get his rings back and avoid a mad scientist who is on their trail, determined to get the creature's powers.
