Happen! **A bit more behind the scenes** The Goofball Run is a massive crossover attempt by myself to write a three way mashup between that has been festering inside my head for longer than I care to admit. This basketcase of a story consists of the classic cartoon show "Wacky Races", the poplar game Mario Kart, and the cult hit movie "The Cannonball Run" all smashed and rolled up together into one beautiful mess. There's just one thing to remember, anything can and will happen, so hold on for one wild ride with familiar faces of yesteryear as well as some of the new kids on the block. This story is still a Work In Progress and will be updated accordingly. Feel free to offer constructive criticism or any ideas on how to improve, though I have a general idea of how I want this to end. Also, feel free to take a guess of who will win, who will lose, and who will end up in a broken down wreak on the side of the road singing the Blues. (Alright, small explanation, I made this story after watching the Scoobs! Movie and realized how much Dick Dastardly is to Dr. Robotnik, boom, crossover was born.) After escaping from prison, Dick Dastardly and his dog, Muttley, form a portal to a new world. Unbeknownst to them, it was an alternate version of Earth, where a blue hedgehog named Sonic, who Dr. Robotnik is trying to destroy, lived. Dastardly and Robotnik learn they have a lot in common, and try to take over the world. The Mystery Gang enter the portal and find themselves in the same world, and they have to work with Sonic, Tails, Tom, and Maddie to stop Dr. Robotnik and Dick Dastardly(and Muttley.) Sonic is Copyright of SEGA and Paramount Pictures. Scoobs! is Copyright of Hanna-Barbera(Mystery Inc. and Wacky Races) and Warner Brothers Pictures(the movie itself).
