Gianna grew close to the Evers siblings. Gianna had a really strong sibling bond with Katie and Wesley. After when Gianna graduated high school. She went to college to study doing police work. She wanted to be a cop to help people and kids who lost there parents when she was their age. After when Gianna graduated college. She went to the academy. When Gianna got to the academy she met her best friends. Lucy Chen, Jackson west and John Nolan. The four of them were inseparable from the day that they met. After Gianna graduated from the academy. She got accepted to the LAPD mid-wilshire patrol division station. She took the officer since she knew the watch commander was sergeant Wade Gray. The sergeant who found her parents killer. Plus gray and his wife Luna would always check in on the girl to see how she was doing. When Gianna meets her new train officer Tim Bradford. She starts to fall in love with him but she won't admit it. When Tim Bradford also falls in love with his rookie Gianna Sanchez. But he won't admit it either. Will they ever admit that they love each other? Or will they just act like they are friends.

This plays out in season 2-3 after Lucy was kidnapped by Caleb. Lucy has been struggling a lot with mental health since the kidnapping, and has nightmares all the time. She often has panic attacks as well, especially after a long day at work. No one knows that Lucy's struggling. She's to scared that she'll get judged if she tells anyone so she just keeps it too herself. But when the nightmares starts to get worse and her panic attacks come more frequently which drains her. She had just started her first year of college and as expected, her parents were furious when they found out, she was still so young and had a great future ahead of her. They gave her two options, either abort the baby or give it in adoption or she could forget about them and the rest of the family and their support. Lucy immediately knew what to do... Nine months later, the brunette gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and as much as it hurt her she knew she couldn't keep her and gave her in adoption.
