When Britain declared war on Germany in 1939, Abba Killau was mourning his dead wife in a far away village in Northern Nigeria.
His wife's death has wounded his soul, making him hate the world, himself- for not been there for her- and for the single entity that denied him the privilege: the white men.
Then the war comes to Africa...
Fate, in its twisted mysterious ways drags Abba into the white men's clutches and got him sent to fight the Italians in Central Africa and then the Japanese in far away Burma.
This is the story of a wounded tiger with a rifle, a heart full of hate and a brutal African soldier. It is the African story of men of valour that helped brought Germany to its knees during World War II, the world's greatest catastrophe.
