This gave humanity a great "Xeno Scare" which prompted a millenia worth of R&D to make up for their small size with a massive technological boost even if the young race was small compared to the massive empires of those unknown 7 Empires wont lag behind amongst those possible hostile threats In the year 16,200 Humanity waged campaigns, battles and Skirmishes each of those 7 Empires in contested worlds to take and conquer and these civilizations are aware of humanity's small presence but at the same time impressive technological scale. Humanity is a small empire on a galactic scale but it can punch above its weight class with its massive tech to boost themselves internally and externally
