Ushijima Wakatoshi comes from a long line of demon tamers. Despite being against the idea of binding his soul to a demon, on his 15th birthday he is forced into the ritual. The demon that binds with the master is often low level, that way the demon has no choice but to listen. However, the demon that Ushijima gets actually chose him out of interest in the human world, that said demon being one of the highest ranking demons and over a hundred years old, Tendō Satori. Without Tendō, there's no end to the amount of danger he will be in. Even though Ushijima has trained to be strong enough to handle a dangerous situation, a lot of his power will be drained with out Tendō. With a higher power out for his head, will Ushijima warm up to Tendō and gain a partner, or will he sacrifice his safety by cutting the communication line? Puzzles, where thousands of small pieces come together to make a big picture. Each piece is important, whether a person realises it or not. Though the issue is, only one piece can ever fit in one place. This is the same with people. Some fit with other people's puzzles, slotting perfectly in - sometimes they won't fit until others are placed first, and you can never force a piece into a place it should not belong. However, with Taru Nakata, that was not the case. She understood people, their needs and she could change her own shape to fit everyone's puzzle. She was the perfect friend, the reliable one, the one to make someone laugh until they cry, the one who people can trust to take them home once they've drunk too much, but also the one who will drink with them all night. For as long as she's lived, Lex had always been a relatively shy person. Once you get to know her she's an expressive, low braincell, crackhead thing She & her closest friends are now in College, Although they attend the same College, the rest of the group got dorms together, she was the odd one out. Her roommate turns out to be a tall, quiet, Volleyball loving dork. Ushijima Wakatoshi is his name. Long before she met her friends in Shiratorizawa Junior High, she had known the now tall giant when they were children. The two of them grew up together, always with eachother, never was there a day they weren't. Though that changed when y/n's family had to move. The day y/n had to leave, Ushijima gave her a matching ring. His was a silver ring with the words " Forever Together " & y/n's a rose gold ring w/ the words" Never Apart " embedded on the outside. On the inside of the rings were their names. A couple years go by & y/n comes back to her home before Junior high begins. Everything is just how she remembers it. But, she doesn't remember Ushijima, & he doesn't remember her. All through Junior high & High school the two played Volleyball, never payed much attention to eachother, but still knew who they were in the Volleyball world. Now in their first year of College will they be able to remember who the other is?
