I left the park this morning. I couldn't even go to the dog park without hearing gunshots. Echoing through the air, relentless, tearing through peace like it was normal. Around the corner, a playground filled with kids. Each field packed, sneakers pounding grass, laughter struggling to survive, while bullets and echoes screamed above. This isn't just noise-it's trauma. Innocence exposed. Childhood interrupted. Every gunshot a reminder that someone's disregard outweighs safety, empathy, and humanity. Kids learn fear before they even know joy. Hypervigilance becomes their first lesson. And adults act like it's normal, like nothing is wrong. I had to leave. I couldn't sit there and breathe that poison. It's reckless. It's cruel. It's a warning of the world we're letting our children inherit. Wake up. Open your eyes. The fields are filled with future trauma, the playground is a warning, and your bullets are the soundtrack of broken childhoods. This poem is raw, undeniable, and unflinching. It's a call to see the truth, a reminder that life is too short to normalize chaos, and a demand for accountability.

As Indian Occupied Kashmir is going under an internet blockade, I want to bring the global attention to the crisis that we've been witnessing. Thousands of more troops have been deployed in a region with reportedly half a million Indian troops. Leaders, activists and even journalists have been detained. Military is coming on the streets in rural areas. People continue to be locked in their homes after a curfew was declared. Cluster bombs, pellet guns, and many deadly weapons are being used on everyone including women, children. Place yourself in their shoes, and think how would you feel, if all these were happening to you instead of them. #IStandWithKashmir #KashmirNeedsHumanity

Alexis Gatwick is a 13 year old girl who lives in Oslo in Norway with her mum, dad and littlebrother Jake. Her family moved from England to Norway when she was 5 years old. She gets bullied at school and she don't really have any friends. She has one friend, Sophie. Sophie lives in Finland and she is one of the "popular" girls in her school. Sophie and Alexis have been best friends since they were 2 years old. The only way Alexis gets through her rough days is listening to her biggest idol and inspiration, Isac Elliot.
