Meet Den Mum. She is a self-contained arsenal running on calm, a "Hobbit-Elf" with cerulean eyes, and a woman possessing a thread of classic European elegance running staunchly through her bones. She survives on a precise matrix of sugar-free flavored waters, regular Shopee vitamin orders, and a fierce dedication to the Golden Rule Protocol. Having survived a childhood of psychological combat zones and a catastrophic system crash of familial loss, Den Mum has built an unyielding, sovereign fortress of peace. She has zero patience for the "Tedious Baseline" of her peers, corporate ego loops, or the superficial drama of the modern dating pool. Navigating the harried, roaring intersections of Bangkok, teaching a swarthy crew of young piratey ESL students, and running forensic audits on everything from British television satires to the un-kosher logistics of cheeseburgers, Den Mum is finally coming into her own. She's not looking for a corporate compromise. She's tracking a rare, high-fidelity frequency: My Person/Mr. Exemplary-a checkmate matching soul to share the handlebars of life with, if anyone at all. Equal parts dry, deadpan comedy and fiercely poignant emotional stewardship, "How Not to Marry a Welshman (and Other Success Stories) is a deeply unique, slow-burn biographical journey about stepping out of survival mode, healing from the wreckage of the past, and mapping out a multifaceted galaxy of one's own. Moving from high-concept cultural critiques to turning a frantic "fridge-dash" leftovers mess into culinary alchemy, "How Not to Marry a Welshman (and other Success Stories)" is a witty, raw, and fiercely sovereign story of neurodivergent survival, profound healing, and finding/founding a fortress of peace entirely on your own terms.

Terminating Dessies is risky business, so when an excursion on the outside goes awry, Pardus shrug it off and dig their heels in; all the while wholly unaware that their misguided actions have snagged a thread on the web of corruption woven just beneath the surface of their world. Juniper Wolff's suspicions are raised by the mad rantings of a target, and it's not long after that her fears are mirrored by the rest of her teammates. With their lifelong beliefs brought to the chopping block, the Tiros of Pardus struggle to come to terms with the cards they have been dealt, but the lessons of a lifetime ensure they're in agreement on one thing: that no matter what happens next, they'll do the right thing. For the people. Juniper has never been a fan of cliches, yet she finds herself impossibly less so when it's her own fingers burnt from playing with fire. All because doing the right thing, sometimes, just isn't enough. Note: contains depictions of violence, "monsters" and muted language. All Rights Reserved. A Grace | Abbey Grace.

LLANELLI TURK 'CARIAD' - Born in Llanelli in the 60's 70's - then it is... a...MUST READ. This 'semi' autobiography focuses on the author's childhood in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire South Wales in the 1960s and 70s, ending on his eighteenth birthday. Though he writes about his family and friends, he's particularly interested in the unusual people he met, including the time he saw a ghost in the hospital, and the books and magazines he read. There are lots of interesting ideas and material in this book. The dialogs are real and humorous. And a sure giggle from page to page. One of the strengths of the book is the author's ability to depict other people. His affection for his parents and his brother, his friendship with Bethan, the unusual local people he meets and particularly his relationship with his uncle are the most successful parts of the book. The way his writing starts matches his age and then the literal content advances with age. This, together with the real dialogue that he does not stray away from and the sense of reality in conversation, I find rare and appealing. This appeal will surely be noticed by those who respect Welsh prose throughout the world. This together with his unique style of honesty, humour and 'cut-level truth' in dialog would in my opinion be worthy of a literal prize. His love for his country of his fathers; 'Wales' and the way that Leo writes his conversational dialogue is most indeed appealing. Readers will giggle their way from page to page. Many will identify. Some will cry. A few will be left wondering. Sold over 5000 copies to Welsh Societies Worldwide. Llanelli town is where the story is dedicated. Born as a Turk in the 60's 70's - then it is a MUST READ... / / Please Vote / Follow. Diolch.

The Road Beyond Wales is an inspiring coming-of-age story about courage, change, and self-discovery. Jaime, a 24-year-old man from a small Welsh town, has always loved the beauty and comfort of home. Surrounded by rolling hills and familiar faces, he enjoys a simple life, but deep down he feels a growing desire for something more. He dreams of exploring the wider world and finding out who he can become beyond the place he has always known. When Jaime secures a marketing job in Manchester, he makes the difficult decision to leave Wales behind. The move brings excitement and opportunity, but it also comes with challenges-loneliness, uncertainty, and moments of self-doubt. As he adjusts to life in a busy city, Jaime gradually gains confidence, forms new friendships, and discovers strengths he never knew he had. Throughout his journey, Jaime learns that leaving home is not about abandoning his roots. Instead, it is about embracing growth while carrying the values and memories that shaped him. In the end, he realizes that Wales will always be part of his identity, but the world beyond its borders offers endless possibilities. This heartfelt story explores themes of personal growth, independence, family bonds, and the courage required to step into the unknown. It reminds readers that sometimes the greatest journeys begin when we dare to leave our comfort zone and follow the road toward a bigger future.
