A short story from my perspective of an old flame who was my first everything. Reliving our past and reminiscing all of our special memories. Throughout this short story there are bits and pieces of each moment we shared together. Involves many time jumps as well.

Happy ever after? Ever since Katarina is young she is so immense with the thought of love. She is so amaze with what love can do and she wanted to find out more! Gusto nya maramdaman yung sinasabi nilang love at first sight, butterflies in your stomach, sparks at fireworks, yung slow-mo at yung tipong tumitigil ang mundo mo habang nakakabingi ang papalakas na pintig ng puso mo at wala kang ibang nakikita! Siya lang. What would she do If in the midst of dreaming for her true love she meets the great Anthony Carl? Will she be living in her dreams? Or will she wake up from her nightmares?

They remind me of my past, again and again Not to heal but to cause me pain. With every word, they tear me apart As if love was meant to break the heart. They find a flaw in all I do Small mistakes become storms too. My voice, my thoughts they never hear Only their anger, loud and clear. In front of others, I'm made to fall As if my worth was nothing at all. And when money becomes love's only measure Where's the bond, the warmth, the treasure. A time then comes, heavy and long When it feels like... I chose all wrong. And deep inside, a truth I see This love was never meant for me. Someone once said, and now I know Don't stay where only you wish to go. Be with the one who holds your hand Even when they don't understand. Now I'm quiet no words to share Because silence speaks when hearts don't care. And in this silence, I've found my way To heal, to grow, to walk away.
