Everett grew up thinking her father was dead-lost in the chaos after the world fell apart and after her mother, Lucille, died. Separated during the early days of the apocalypse, she survived alone until Daryl found her in the woods looking half-starved, beaten and unconscious while looking for Carol's daughter Sophia. He became her protector, her teacher, her family-the closest thing she's had to father in awhile. Years later, fate turns cruel: captured with Rick's group, Everett is forced in the lineup and comes face to face with the most feared man that has entire communities terrified. Negan is death with a smile-barbed wire, blood and terror wrapped into a man you don't want to cross.
