Kate Winston was a normal girl. But then again, the world isn't exactly normal now either. Not after an incident that would change her life, and many others'. All that matters now is surviving. At least, Kate's humanity was spared. She believes that there is still hope for this dying world, but not now. Maybe later. Kate changed her mind. She looked off into the distance, and the open road almost looked... Promising. Kate and her sister will walk away from all they have ever known and loved. Video games didn't prepare me for a Zombie Apocalypse. I had to learn from the best, my cousins. Which I now assumed they're dead too, just like the rest of the human civilization. I fell in love and have been protecting him and his little sister, alone. I do like to think a lot though, of when I was a normal person, a normal 21 year old girl. I also think about when I spent time with my cousins Daryl and Merle, but that's behind me now. I will do anything to survive at this point. No one, and I mean NO ONE gets in my way of me protecting my group. When will this end? Where is the cure? because I'm losing my mind.

Daryl has known ever since they reunited that Carol had a dark cloud over her. Can he get her to tell him what happened during their time apart?
