The walnuts Gang competes in a punt, pass and kick contest. The winner gets a new bicycle and a trip to the Super Bowl. Meanwhile, Woodstock coaches the Beagles football team (made up of a bunch of beagles, such as snoopy and his siblings) to the AFL (Animal Football League) Super Bowl.

It's Valentine's Day again and Lucy van pelt dreams the seemingly hopeless dream to receiving a valentine from anyone. All the while, the rest of the gang have their own trials whether it be sally's struggle to get the biggest card she can for her beloved teacher, or Charlie brown trying to get some token from heather while Woodstock and snoopy are having fun spearing valentines on each other's nose.

With only two days left before school ends, Lucy van pelt makes numerous attempts to finally meet the little blonde-haired boy she has long admired.
