After planning for a while, Ariana fled to the USA, quickly changing her name to Mackenzie. After about a year she get's on Hydra's radar for saving some of their targets for them. As the hunt for her becomes more dangerous, the Avengers step in, offering to protect her. She becomes great friends with them, and most of them fall for her.
