As Jade beings to search for answers about her own unusual abilities, she finds herself drawn into unexpected friendships. Lily Evans, navigating her own shifting loyalties. This is a story about youth on the edge of something bigger, magic as a craft, and what it means to be marked for tragedy. This story explores the Marauder's time an outside perspective, where Jade finds herself pulled into friendship, romance, and of course mystery. This story has lived quietly in my head for years before I finally found the time (and courage) to write it down. I always wanted to explore Sirius Black as not just a reckless marauder or a tragic fugitive, but as a deeply broken man who deserves more. Even the darkest of characters should have moments of joy, reminders that they are human. This story lives in that space.
