Happy places, do you have your happy place and whenever you think of I it. No matter how sad you were it will make you happy one more monment of your life. Well, I don't have one of those places. My wish I did, but I just don't.

Kathryn is a teenage girl with a scarred past. Her family moves to San Francisco from Seattle for a fresh start and to move on from the events that changed Kathryn forever. She is reluctant about getting new friends and being at a new school but those feelings begin to fade once she meets Vanessa, her new neighbor. Her kindness towards Kathryn give her hope that maybe she can heal in this new place that she now calls home. But will this friendship stay a friendship or become something more?
