The Eighth Doctor is summoned back to Gallifrey as tensions between the Time Lords and the Dalek Empire come to a head. What will the Doctor do as the universe is consumed by war? Covers the Time War, from right before it breaks out until the Eighth Doctor regenerates. (There is a part 2 with the War Doctor) Intended to do the Time War justice to what it was described and implied to be, which "The Day of the Doctor" and "Engines of War" fell short of. The Doctor inadvertently walks into a trap as he answers a distress call near a remote desert planet. The last thing he had expected to see during the Time War was Sontarans, let alone to be captured by two of them. But, they have a sinister plan and a very surprising reveal, one the Doctor himself was not prepared to discover.

I don't know if this has been done before, I think it has and I don't know it... But anyways, I just had this head canon that the dead Doctors are in one place together... I don't know, enjoy it. I don't own Doctor Who. If I did, Paul McGann would be the Doctor.
