This is a very rough draft of my life so far. Everything I say in this book has happened so far in my life.

Fifteen-year-old Jean Adams finally walks out of the orphanage she had been forced to call home for a whole year next to her new guardian, a middle-aged man named Steven Rollins and his roommate Melina Brown. As it turns out, Steven is her half-brother, and living with him may reveal the real reasons her mom abandoned her so long ago. Desperate to find out what happened to her, Jean will do almost anything to extract the truth even if it means putting down roots.
