Warmups Stories

A collection of short "warm ups", using the first five objects I see when walking into a random room of my apartment as inspiration. I set a time limit of 5-ish mintues to write for each prompt, fix it up a bit, but then leave it as-is, so don't expect proper endings or resolutions. Marked as Complete but added to as more is written. Enjoy!

Sometimes I sit myself down for 10-15 minutes at a time and just Write. No editing, no filters. This is what happens.

These are just some short stories that I wrote to exercise my mind's creativity and I'll probably never finish them but I wanted to share them with people. People of all ages that can read good can read these stories.

Each chapter is a different story. Each took only twenty-five minutes to write. This is where my warm-up writings go, when I've hit writer's block and resorted to using prompts or music. If I wrote from a prompt, the prompt will be at the beginning of the chapter, and then separated from the story. This is just for fun! And who knows? Maybe a story will come from one ;)

As a theatre kid myself, I can literally relate to some of this. Meet Cassandra Benedict, the seventeen year old theatre nerd with a dream to one day rock the stage on Broadway. Always being cast as the biggest character role, she hopes to go out with a bang on her last show until college, but it takes an unexpected turn as she is cast as the main love interest with an interesting boy by her side to act it out with.

"i have loved the stars too deeply to be afraid of the night." in which a teenager writes out her thoughts and feelings in rants, poems, and short stories.

hi I still exist :D I don't even post on Wattpad anymore except for Mute Love (Which I barely update as well) so have this as an apology- Yes, this was a random idea after literal weeks of not having any motivation to either write or draw No, this is not a full story and is in fact just a mini idea (and 100% spoiling my absolute weakness towards the whole "bakugo does in fact love his shitty hair" trope) and N o I didn't proofread this but do I proofread regularly like I should anyway? :) Let's leave that unanswered- This was posted on Ao3, originally! Writing is something everyone has the skill to do, it just takes practice. These are my warm-ups to get me back into writing. Between landscape description to prompts, this is just an in general look into my warm-ups.
