But come the dawn of the 1940s and we would be proven wrong and would come the 2nd disillusionment.

Hello! This is a remake of the movie "War of The Worlds" as a book. "War of The Worlds" movies go back quite some time but, I'm talking about the 2005 movie staring Tom Cruise. The story wasn't as good nor the plot and needed a bit of fixing up. The climax wasn't as interesting and it was all over the place. So I decided to remake this wonderful movie as an new and improved book! P.S. I do not own "War of The Worlds" !!

But oh boy, this is worth it, through a pair of binoculars, over the hill, 500 meter long pipes spewing radioactive waste nearly a kilometer into the heavens. The waste is so hot that it steams and billows clouds of 5 kilometers long into the sky.
