In a world torn between light and darkness, one kobold refuses to be a pawn. Minions' War is an epic fantasy poem chronicling the rise of Kederigan, a former servant of dark warlocks, who defies fate, leads his kin through devastation, and carves a new destiny. As dragons, mages, goblins, and satyrs clash across war-torn realms, Kederigan stands against both tyrants and prophecy, forging alliances with dwarfs, elves, and humans to end the cycle of ruin. This is a saga of rebellion, resilience, and the birth of a mountain king.

In the haze of war and memory, a haunting reflection unfolds-where darkness swirls, bones shatter like dry wood, and hope flickers beneath exploding skies. This piece captures the quiet horror of conflict and the resilience of those who walk through it. A poetic journey through grief, survival, and the echoes that never fade.

What awaits us... Beyond uncharted waters? What awaits us... Beyond our own protected borders? In the haze; dust appear's on the horizon As the earth's heart trembles with vibration Steady; We hold our battle formation Silent; We gaze in anticipation When faced against armoured giants Of trumpeting Seleucid & Carthaginian mighty war elephants What lies beyond the protected borders of Rome's vast empire? As her legions march endlessly to all four corners of the known world.

I wrote this a while ago, when I was 13 or so. At the time we were studying Dulce et Decorum est by Wilfred Owen in English, and the teacher set us an interesting activity. He read out a line by line description of Dulce et Decorum est, without telling us what it was, so by the end there were about thirty different versions of the epic poem. This was my finished product, and I haven't changed it since, so please be nice as this is in respect of the poetic god that was Wilfred Owen.

I write poems of war not from the battlefield, but from the lives it fractures, the innocent civilians who suffer in its shadow. While both victor and defeated armies are remembered, those who endure in silence fade into forgetting.

From 1914 to 1918 the whole world was plunged into the great war. Every able man fought for his country..and soon every child did as well. Over two hundred thousand minors fought in the trenches. It's a sin from humanity's past that is swept under the rug. I felt the need to address this tragedy in this poem to make awareness of what happened a hundred years ago. May every life lost in the war rest in peace. These children will never be forgotten.

*"WAR"* is a deeply evocative poetry collection dedicated to the fallen in Ukraine, my homeland. The poems explore the theme of conflict in its many forms, transcending the boundaries of armed warfare between nations. While the collection is inspired by the tragic events unfolding in Ukraine, it also reflects on the personal and emotional battles we face every day. From quarrels between friends and family to struggles between lovers, the collection delves into the complexities of human relationships and the turmoil that can arise within them. *"WAR"* captures the raw, universal essence of conflict, reminding us that it is not only wars fought on battlefields that leave scars, but also the tensions that simmer in our personal lives.
