Living as a human while also enjoying the life as a clan cat? That would sure seem to cause confusion all over the place. Well that's the life 13 year-old Danica Johnson lives, and she's enjoying it. Living as a human and spending her time with her absent family, and hanging out at school. But when she has the time, which is a lot, a special mask lets her change into a cat, and during this time, she goes to Moonclan as an apprentice named Otterpaw, training to become a warrior. To her, life seems fair and equal, and nothing could possibly go wrong. But before she knows it, everything will come spiraling downhill....
