I wrote this fanfic for entertainment purposes only, and the character Lilac-Spots is based after is Lila from Spooky Month, plus the cat image belongs to Picrew)

I really wanted to make this because Shrewpaw deserved better, and to be honest, he'd be a way better mate for Squirrelflight than Brambleclaw and Ashfur. They're separated not only by the territories they call home but by their own perceived differences, and the disconnect between them all has led to widespread problems. Five young cats, one from each clan, work in their own ways to patch these broken bonds between the clans - before they fall apart completely. This is a fan-made story set in my own version of the warrior cats universe! All of the characters and clans in this story are of my own creation, though obviously the concept was based on and heavily inspired by the Warriors series by Erin Hunter. An alternate timeline from the original Warriors series. Life is simple in the clans, nothing much. Until a cat named Shellear, Riverclan's medicine cat, sees something she wishes she never did in a vision. Two legs. After warning the clan and keeping watch, Riverclan was lucky to have discovered something, or someone, that could change the whole forest's lives, forever.

After Rusty's departure, a concerned Smudge attempts to find him and bring him back. Through the unknown forest, he finds what he was looking for, only for him to so quickly abandon him again. And when he least expected it, life had to throw another obstacle at him. And as his vision grows black, the anger and betrayal leaves an irreversible mark on this naive kittypet, and the path paved out for him has many wild turns that won't guarantee his sanity

This AU takes place when Firestar, Graystripe, and Ravenpaw are trying to escape RiverClan/TigerClan territory to save Mistyfoot, Featherpaw, and Stormpaw from the threat of being killed for their half-Clan blood. In canon, a ThunderClan patrol consisting of Sandstorm, Cloudtail, and Thornclaw arrives just in time to help hold off the advancing ShadowClan warriors at the stepping-stones, allowing the three TigerClan prisoners to escape into ThunderClan and be brought in to be safe from anymore threats. But what if the ThunderClan was too late to come, or didn't come at all? Why Ravenpaw ran away from the Clans in the first place is the very thing that happens.
