Dawnkit and Specklekit were abandoned by their kittypet mother. Warriors of Crowclan found them and took them in, some with reluctance. Seeing as they were too young to fend for themselves, they were quickly accepted into the clan, but acceptance isn't the same as being welcomed in. With borders being violated and tension between clans, the new kits weren't the only thing causing division within the clan. Yes, I know the story cover is bad. Deal with it.

It'd be a lie to say that BatClan is thriving this newleaf. With the Clan on the brink of destruction after a particularly vicious leaf-bare, it's safe to say that the very few Warriors left are ready to turn tail and leave.
