Swiftflight has recently broken free of Ashfur's trap, but immediately finds himself in a new one - he is now a fully loyal, dedicated ThunderClan warrior, but many of his Clanmates struggle to see that. And while Goldenshine has felt immense relief in seeing her son attempt to redeem himself, she carries her own share of burdens - her sister, Snowflight, has still not been released from Snowstorm, Swiftflight's best friend, and the reason for this is still a complete mystery. Goldenstar of Fernclan begins to see the error of his actions in exiling the innocent cat, and tries to right this wrong, allowing the traitorous medicine cat Fellwind to assist him in taking the exiled tom back to Fernclan. However, what Goldenstar didn't know, is just how evil Darkclan truly is.

How do you solve a mystery? ~~~ When CloudClan woke up one morning, their medicine cat was gone. There wasn't a single trace of her anywhere - no footprints, scent, or even a dead body announcing an unfortunate meeting with a fox or badger. It was as though she'd simply.... vanished. Eventually, after weeks of searching with no avail, CloudClan's leader closed the case. It was going nowhere, and for all they knew, maybe the medicine cat was simply sick of being a Clan cat.
