When they were born, Scorchheart was scarred, his missing eye was his savior however, even if he had no idea at the time. Although everyone else treated their lives as normal, ever since he was the she-kit Scorchkit, they always felt like something was off. Although the ScorchingStar is considered evil by those around them, Scorchheart always felt drawn towards it, although they would never disobey. One day their life would permanently change, as the first cat to go missing was the one of the closest to him. He realized when another went missing, this wasn't normal, especially with how the SilentStar and SecretKeeper talked about it... Scorchheart was made sure of the fact that they would discover the secret behind the SilentStar, and protect those closest to them so that they would never be taken away again. But this goal is a big one, and it is made very clear to him early on that these secrets run deep and he may have to reach out and search throughout the dead while not losing himself. It is also made obvious how he may not always be able to protect those around him, and sometimes even himself... Every disaster that threatens a Clan means StarClan will come and save you. You'll receive a prophecy that will save everything you love. The peril is vanquished in a battle, and there is no need for sleeping with one eye open anymore. StarClan will forever watch over you from your nest and keep you safe. That is what has been passed down from generations. Not every tale has to end like that: StarClan saving everyone with the chosen cat, everyone loving the hero or heroine - but it always does. So facing a challenge such as missing cats shouldn't be a challenging task. Moons pass on, cats keep disappearing faster and faster; nobody is doing anything to prevent the case. Everyone is relying on StarClan to send the prophecy to their medicine cat, just hoping that one day, the fiasco will end. Yet that's not the way fear works its way into hearts. Warriors, once brave and strong, now cowering behind one another. Apprentices with their eagerness to learn, now afraid of the outside world and going missing. Queens, always caring for their kits, now fearful of losing them to the mystery. Elders, who are as wise as the deepest river, now unable to provide an answers. With leaf-bare creeping up, the Clans are preparing for the harsh weather. Preparing for another season should be like gathering moss for the elders, but not this time. This time, the Clans are struggling just to assemble a hunting patrol and maintain borders. Forcing time out of daily tasks is asking the impossible. Leaf-bare is going to take the remaining lives of the cats that are lucky enough to even make it through leaf-fall. A silent storm will sweep across them and leave no traces; they might as well prepare to die in the white flakes of leaf-bare, covered up by mounds of snow, lost and forgotten. {This is a rewrite of my story and just like before, copying isn't allowed} {This is also a work of fanfiction! This story is about a tom who goes by the name of Rye'Whisker. His best friend Night'Leap (she-cat) had gone missing one night. Despite his Leader telling him to stay and go out with a patrol group in the morning, he escapes camp at night and runs far away. A while after that he comes across Thunderpath. He sees a farm down to his right so he runs there instead, only to realise he'd still have to cross the path. Once he finally reaches the farm he finds a group of cats who are willing to help look for Night'Leap. Their adventures will be hard and will test their friendship, and it might not be worth it. Maybe friendship will come through in the end.

A horrible greencough has struck the heart of Forestclan. Many cats are dying due to the sickness. Wanting to prove herself to be a great medicine cat, Marigoldpaw, the Forestclan medicine cat apprentice, works tirelessly to attempt and save any cats she can. But when her brother ends up with greencough, she does everything she can to help save him. But his sickness was too severe and ends up dying. Marigoldpaw ends up shutting down followed by days of grief, soon meeting the same fate as her brother's. This is a fan work based Warrior Cats series.
