Saffronpaw is a new apprentice of ThunderClan, and many of her Clan expect greatness from her for being part of the great Firestar's lineage. But can she live up to their hopes when dark dreams engulf her? Meanwhile, WindClan medicine cat apprentice Skypaw is struggling with feelings of love. But when a horrifying prophecy is sent to her, can she stay on the path she is meant to follow? Vineflower of SkyClan has just passed her Warrior assessment, but when she's visited by a strange ghost, can she help the spirit in time before they disappear to the Dark Forest, a place they weren't meant to be pulled to? Although Rainwhisper of RiverClan and Graypine of ShadowClan have beaten Blacksky, with the help of a chosen few from the other Clans, can they see what looms through the shadows? "Blacksky is dead. (wip!) It has been moons since the first cats had left behind the crumbling clans and set off to rebuild them beyond the mountains and everything was going as planned. The rogues has been driven out, their leader killed, and ThunderClan, ShadowClan, WindClan and RiverClan were growing stronger by the day. But soon, a threat appeared on the horizon and the cats of the clans had no idea what to do about it. It was then that StarClan revealed four kits would be born to stand up and protect them from the evil. But no one could've guessed that the real evil was within the clans themselves. Lilykit, the only daughter of Poppyshine and a whiny little WindClan kit who's trying too hard to live up to her self-set standards. Stripekit, the only survivor of a litter of five RiverClan kits, burdened by the loss of his siblings and the expectation as his mothers only son. Tortiosekit, an odd little ThunderClan tortoiseshell with a bigger mouth than her heart and the weight of a secret that could ruin her whole life. And finally from ShadowClan, Smallkit a weakling in a clan built to be strong, trying to find comfort in the words of his clan's medicine cat. These are the four that the clans put on the highest pedestal with expectations they would save the clans. But can they really live up to it or will they be crushed by the importance of their future?
