Things seem to get even worse when a ginger outsider warns everyone of a growing danger amongst the Clans and a prophecy that foretells unspoken catastrophe. Wind and Fire live along the steep slope territories of the Snow Colony while Water lives in the deep cave territories of the Shade Colony. The hierarchy of these Colonies are strict. Any defiance to it would mean death, unless pardoned or exiled by the leader. Unlike in the Cloud Colony, however, she-cats are not reduced to nothing by the hierarchy. They can be capable of holding power amongst the Elites, a group of powerful cats with a number of political advantages, but this is threatened when the Cloud Colony's leader, Scarred Storm, threatens war with the Shade Colony if they don't cede any territory and prey to them. A young snow leopard is born on the mountain of Dae. It is a part of a much larger territory, and thus makes young Padri part of the Kingdom of Shaful. It is filled with many animals. Crocodiles, clouded leopards, red pandas, mice, and even a few lions. Exploring her home is certainly quite an adventure! But, it is rigged with dangers all over. When the king of Shaful mysteriously disappears, his son, a stoic and stern white bengal tiger named Kaisyn, takes over as the kingdom's stand-in leader until his father is found.

The Clans have found their place at the lake territory. Borders have been established, and a relative peace has befallen the Clans as they recall the camaraderie and courage each of their warriors showed to one another. But peace is always temporary. StarClan speaks of an impending doom for the Clans, and only three cats seem to have the power it takes to stop this new, unknown threat. *WARNINGS* I do not own ANY of the characters. They are owned by the Erin Hunter writing team and, in turn, HarperCollins. This is a rewrite of Power of Three that follows my vision of what it could have been. Nothing in this dictates precisely what should have happened, and I can very well miss a few important details that could ruin the rewrite entirely. Do NOT ask me to update this story. I will adamantly refuse to work on it if you do. This rewrite will contain darker material than was depicted in Power of Three. Hint: no-one is safe from my writing wrath. If I see an opportunity to make a character suffer, I am very likely to take it.

[WARNING] - This is a rewrite of Erin Hunter's The Broken Code. I really did not like the direction it took, and there were so many scenes that were rushed and poorly executed. I do not own ANY character in this story. Erin Hunter and HarperCollins Publications own them. With SkyClan settled in at the lake, and no major conflicts arising, all five Clans have begun to get used to the peace. But a bitter-cold blizzard has brought about a dark period in Clan history when the moonpool freezes over entirely, and there is only one cat who can still speak to StarClan: a young ShadowClan medicine cat apprentice named Shadowpaw. Shadowpaw is faced with responsibilities that no other medicine cat has had before, now that the other medicine cats' connection to StarClan has been severed. When ThunderClan leader Bramblestar becomes deathly ill, StarClan tells him that Bramblestar must be left out in the snow in order to be healed. Although a seemingly mousebrained idea, Shadowpaw can't possibly argue with StarClan. Bramblestar wakes up without a hint of illness and is able to lead his Clan again, but Rootpaw, a SkyClan apprentice, begins to notice something terrifying - and he's not alone. Bristlepaw, in the meantime, is just happy to have her leader back.

*2024 AUTHOR'S WARNING THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN HERE IN 2021* This story is no longer canon and has long since been retconned! Arising Shadows is the new first book, and it is a part of the new first arc "A Shattered Peace" as Chronicles of the Prophecies is now divided by three arcs. This book has long since been repurposed as a shit-post story that could provide a glimpse into what the CotP reboot/rewrite might be like. All of this will also be mentioned in depth - within the book itself - the moment you start reading. Many moons after the Leaf-Bare blizzard devastated the 5 Clans, a new cat by the name of MJ appears out of nowhere. The Power of Three team alongside Dovewing and Ivypool are back and will try to found out what this new cat wants and figure out the prophecy given to them "Watch your backs as a new threat will appear and it will take each cat out one by one leaving it's claws red with blood."
