The clans have settled after the great battle against DarkStar, her dogs, and WoodStar. All four clans successfully went back to their own territories, and everything stayed relatively normal, until an odd scent was caught on the RidgeClan and GladeClan border.

Two felines originating from the same litter depart from their domicile as domesticated house cats, embarking upon a new existence among the wildcats residing in the oak forest adjacent to the confines of their home. However, they face separation due to an assault from a foreign cat, resulting in one littermate, Opal, integrating into AlderClan, the clan they initially intended to affiliate with, while the other, named Quinn, finds refuge within a different clan inhabiting the meadows, known as BerryClan. Prior to their departure, Quinn observed peculiar changes in Opal's demeanor; he exhibited a propensity for conversing in a markedly more formal manner than he had prior to reuniting with Quinn and the housefolk, and he seemed already acquainted with the names of the wildcats. Upon their assimilation into their respective clans, the duo adopts the monikers of Blackpaw for Quinn and Opalpaw for Opal. The two swiftly become aware of two former leaders, Blackstar and Opalstar, primarily due to the initial confusion surrounding their spectral resemblances.

A terrible doom is coming to the Clans, and it is up to five special cats to prepare the Clans for it. A smart, caring brown tom from ReedClan, who can summon a storm within seconds. A loving, heart-lead ginger medicine she-cat from ForestClan, who can heal the worst wounds with her paws alone. A hard-working, empathetic silver tom from MountainClan, whose eyes deceive even the smartest cats, and manipulate the aspects of the forest. A introverted, observant brown tom from MoorClan, who can create frost out of fire with the look in his eyes, or the touch of a paw. And a cunning, fierce gray-blue she-cat from SpruceClan, whose bite is deadlier than the largest monster, or the scariest warrior. Together, these warriors would like to live their lives peacefully, but the danger of what's to come looms over them like a hawk. Does the responsibility end up being too much to manage? Will the future hold the deaths of many loved ones? Burningkit was always seen as a tiny bit different by others, especially those who resent him, but he is just as normal as any other cat!! Burningkit can live a normal life, really! No power is going to take away his right to be an apprentice, then warrior, and to have a mate and kits just like everyone else! ...Right? Burninggaze is determined to live his life the way any other cat would, his power can't affect him as a cat, it just can't! He didn't as for it anyways... A really, REALLY, REALLY edgy and bad fic I wrote four years ago. I was a violent child. This is bad. Really bad. I'm pretty sure it was SUPPOSED to be bad, but it's bad nonetheless. Warning! This fic has lots and lots of gore and death! Not to mention a lot of ableist slurs are used (mainly ps*cho) because I was a super edgy child that thought I was being cool. This fic was never completed- I stopped writing at eight chapters. I might continue it one day- I don't remember where I was going with it, but still I love this edgy nightmare.
