This is a rewrite of the expansion, Dawntrail of Final Fantasy XIV, a MMORPG published by Square Enix. All characters and the fantasy world, dialogue are copyrighted by Square Enix. Having played the expansion, Dawntrail, is required to understand this rewrite.

In the aftermath of ambushing and failing to kill the Viceroy and Zenos Yugiri retreats to her private room within the House of the Fierce to tend to her wounds. She gets an unexpected visit from the ever stoic Warrior of Light. Yugiri Mistwalker x WoL one-shot Certain info used liberally, i.e. Viera lifespan and effects of Blessing of Light.

"When Darkness covers the land, four Warriors of Light shall come." That is the beginning of the Final Fantasy series. And that's how the series continued with success. But when the biggest MMO remake of the Final Fantasy series was announced, it was stated that five video gamers would get to play as the Warriors of Light for everyone in five roles. Meet Takashi and Rei, two gamers who play Final Fantasy, seeing this message on their phones. With help from their friends Rias, Akeno, and Issei, they would venture into the game to play the ultimate Final Fantasy MMO series and play through the adventures of many in Final Fantasy: Remake!

Born on the streets of the Ala Mhigan Quarter, Setzer has never known a life outside that. Setzer dreams of someday being able to get off the streets and live his life instead of being trapped, known only as the Alley Cat. It's only after a chance encounter with another man, he finds he may finally have a chance to change his fate, as long as he picks the right three wishes. (This is an AU based on Aladdin from Disney. My WoL Setzer fit very similarly to Aladdin, and all my friends wanted to see this actually written so here we are xD WolxX'rhun fanfic)

At the bottom, he sits with a friend, who was an enemy, now a friend once more in their mutual ruin.

Setzer never wanted the title of Hero and certainly not The Warrior of Light. He never wanted to save a world that had never done anything to save him. He never knew his parents, never had the chance to grow up in their care, never knew just how much they loved him and each other. This story isn't Setzer's story of how he became the beloved Warrior of Light. This story is about his parents and how they fell in love and the truth behind why Setzer never got to meet his parents.

Gather 'round, children of the land, to hear the tale of Fae Foxy: unlikely Warrior of Light. From beginnings unknown (but likely humble indeed, given her pockets were as empty as her head), this skilled archer came to Eorzea in search of adventure, and certainly found it and more beyond the safe embrace of Gridania's boughs. What lies in store for this fiery Seeker of the Sun? Will she remain in the light of the crystal, or will her path turn to darkness's road? Final Fantasy XIV is one of my favorite games and I really enjoy the story telling within the game. I find myself creating stories during the in between moments, or 'Time Bubbles'. This story will be a weaving of all of those moments together, tying job questlines, head cannon events, romance, and more into the Main Story Questline. It begins all the way back in A Realm Reborn where our young adventurer, Icarus, is waking from a rousing dream about fighting dark forces with Light.

"What brings you to the bar tonight, Warrior of Light? [beep]" A heart to heart in Costa del Sol. The sea breeze is soft, the lighthouse stands tall, and the Warrior of Light has her orange juice and the robot that once tried to eliminate her as company. It is peaceful.
