In a shabby and worn tavern with the wafting scent of tobacco and stale mead. Smoke hovered close to the ceiling, creating a gloomy feel. In the back corner of the tavern there was a hushed conversation going about. At one point one of the several figures stood from the table and in a hushed voice pronounced to the group "our lives needn't be so hard, something must be done". The group's whispers rose to a panicked and rapid volume. Until the standing figure ended it by slamming their hands on the table in frustration stating " shut it! All of you! We need to take a stand and stop our kingdom from running into the ground!" The group was startled into silence. One of the figures muttered to the group "discussing this is treason. If we are caught or even heard our heads will be on spikes by the end of the night". The group that was huddled together in the shabby tavern, had no clue that they were about to change the direction of history...

*COMPLETE* "People don't believe in us anymore. They don't believe that in the end we will do what is right. We can't let them down. We can't let Ben win." Decisions made on top of the lonely, wind-swept cliff of Lethinor reverberate around the five kingdoms as war begins in earnest. This is a sequel to Paragon, it's my very, very, very strong recommendation you read it first, otherwise you will be totally lost. I am not joking. If your interest is piqued, here's a quick blurb for Paragon: _____________________ There are whispers across the kingdoms that the Paragon, that strangely gifted person who can wield all four Skills, has been found. They're wrong, of course. No one has caught the Paragon. Allayria should know: she's it. But Allayria doesn't want to be the Paragon, and in her pursuit of freedom she finds herself enmeshed in a web of lies, caught in a group who might be even more dangerous than she could have imagined. _____________________ You can read Paragon here: https://www.wattpad.com/story/95374969-paragon Highest ranking: #86 in Fantasy 2/10/2018 WIP Cover art and written work by Azi. Please note: violence, sexual themes, and coarse language will appear in Partisan.

You ladies are great!~ This story is written in the first person. This is my first completed full length novel which I wrote around 2009 and has since been undergoing a LOT of editing and polishing. Feedback is greatly appreciated!!

"Men are afraid of us." They are afraid of what we can do. They see a woman and let foul words roll off their tongues with ease. But really in their eyes and eyes they see a woman of beauty. A woman of more power than they could ever behold. So they sit on there throne and they make sure to crush us under them. But little do they know that, sooner or later, the day will come when we will topple that throne." In a land where women are considered vile creatures and are kept underground and men rule everything, it takes a lot for a woman to rise above it all even if it's against the rules.

A tale from the forgotten chapter of Themyscira. In an age when Themyscira stood unchallenged-radiant, eternal, and guided by the gods-Amazon scout Alcinoe believed her future would be shaped only by honor, sisterhood, and the unbreakable peace of their hidden paradise. But peace can fracture in silence. When unsettling omens ripple through the island and a stranger washes ashore carrying warnings of a rising darkness, Alcinoe finds herself drawn into a widening rift among her own people. As tensions sharpen into division and ancient oaths begin to unravel, she must confront the terrifying truth that even paradise can bleed... and that some battles are fought not by steel, but by the choices of the heart. With Themyscira's fate poised on the edge of myth and memory, Alcinoe is forced to walk a path where loyalty, courage, and sacrifice become the only weapons strong enough to face what comes next. Before history remembered the Amazons-there was the age they tried to forget.

But Xenik wasn't so sure about that now that he'd met one. Though she hadn't matched up to the terrifying stories about them. She should've killed him. It would've been easy, he'd been exhausted and near the brink of death already when she found him. But that was why he believed her intentions to be more devious than those of legend. She'd saved him and returned him safely to civilization. Now she haunted him. Driving him to madness. She should've killed him. Why hadn't she killed him? He wished she would've just killed him.
