A feeling that no one else seems to have felt before causes her to go with the two onto a journey to parts unknown. Sunpaw is a mediator apprentice until the Clans get too angry to listen to anyone. She decides she cannot do this anymore, and follows the two cats on their journey.

Times have changed and ghosts are coming back, harsher and more skillful than ever. Witherkit , a young tom, barely been born and weaned off of his mother's milk and life has already taken it's toll. He lives in one of the last living clans, ever since the original five crashed along with the lake. The darkests ghosts have been rumored to be long gone, trapped in the old territory, but sadly thats not true, the darkest of all of them, Witheredfeather has been reincarnated for a better life.
