An Alternative Ending to the Red Queen Series War Storm by Victoria Aveyard. *All characters are Victoria Aveyards except for some OC's *Cover art done by Vladislav Solovjov (Bēhance Net) Its been a few months since Mare has been to Norta, since she's seen Cal more importantly. She left The Scarlet Guard to pick up the pieces of the broken country and live in peace with her family and friend. But over time her need to be useful over comes her and she's leaves back to Norta to become that Lighting Girl she once was only to find herself closed off once again by the people she thought she trusted and the man she thought she loved. • Up in Northern LakeLand, there is a small town. A few minutes away from the town is house were a young women lives her ordinary life supporting herself in an ordinary way. But her ordinary acts and choices can never hide from what she is. A demon, or a monster as they say, that can't face her past even when it comes back to greet her again.

"You know me well enough, Mare, I will always choose you," After Mare chooses Maven after trials and tribulations of running away from Maven and plotting his revenge, she can either be Maven's servant and patiently wait for her band of newbloods to attack or choose to be Maven's lover and fight her battles from the inside. Will she choose to be with Maven and possibly fall for Maven all over again, or be a slave for the rest of her days? A/N: I kept Shade alive in this version

Gutmütig, freundlich und vor allem eine Gegnerin der Rotenunterdrückung. Ihr ganzes Leben ändert sich aber schlagartig, als ein rotes Mädchen einem Lichtblitz gleich durch einen elektrischen Schutzschild in eine Arena fällt. Eigentlich sollte diese tot sein, aber stattdessen zerstört sie unabsichtlich Kendra's Fast-Verlobung, heiratet bald in die königliche Familie ein und zettelt eine Rebellion an, bei der Kendra sofort mitmacht. Eines Nachts läuft sie einem roten Jungen namens Kilorn Warren, der sich gerade zusammen mit der Scharlachroten Garde, einer Rebellionsgruppe, ins Schloss einschleusen will, über den Weg und hinterlässt einen verwunderlichen Eindruck bei dem Fischerjungen aus Stilts, einem kleinen Dorf am Fluss. Als der Krieg und Mavens Herrschaft beginnt, flüchtet sie zur Scharlachroten Garde. Aber nicht allein, sondern gleich noch mit ihren Geschwistern. Die Spaltung der Häuser am Hof führt dann auch noch dazu, dass Haus Osanos sich ganz der Garde anschließt. Doch egal wie oft Kendra ihre Treue beweist, Kilorn will ihr einfach nicht trauen oder gar sehen, was sie für ihn empfindet. Denn es gibt immer nur Mare. Außerdem ist er der Überzeugung, alle Silbernen wären Monster und lässt Kendra einfach keine Chance, sich zu beweisen. Ein erschütterndes Ereignis jedoch bringt ihn dazu, seine Einstellung in Frage zu stellen.

This is a continuation of the Red Queen series by Victoria Aveyard after the end of War Storm. It goes more in-depth of how the characters live after Norta became a republic and what that kind of government looks like in Norta. There may no longer be Kings but there is still large conflict yet to be dealt with and decisions, political and personal, to be made. (Some one this was also inspired by the song Say When by the Fray which has always reminded me of red queen)

Mare Barrow didn't expect to be on a plane to Archeon two months after she left Cal to go to Montfort She also didn't expect to be pregnant with his child. But here she is. When Sara Skonos surprises her with the news, it's an understatement to say she was shocked. So with her new friends, Elane Haven and Evangeline Samos, she heads to Archeon to tell Cal the news. One problem though. When she told him not to wait for her, he took that seriously and now has a girlfriend. Will Cal and Mare end up together? Or will Mare go home with her child and no Cal? I do not own anything except for the plot. The wonderful and talented Victoria Aveyard owns everything else.
