When you're stuck on a battleship in war time, with constant shelling. There's bound to be some kind of chaos. Join Anakin Montgomery, one of the few women in the Queen's Royal Navy, as she embarks on an adventure like no other. Being one of the only women on board the ship, things are hard for "Anny" to deal with. It doesn't help that while she's one of the most skilled "gunmen" in the Navy, she's only 23 and 5 foot 4.

This is a short story written for my school homework back in year 11. I was given about half a day to write this, so it's not top notch and I had a word count, but I will be going back in and editing continuously to make it better. Also, if your looking for a strong female in this story, you won't find heroines escaping or saving the man. I wanted to explore strength through just surviving, when every odd turns it back on you and learning how to want to live again.
