Madelyn Lawless's version of normal isn't close to what we see as normal. For her entire life, she's been different than those around her. Madelyn is a mortal living in a creature realm, the only mortal. As a result, those who know her protect her at all costs. Blackie Lawless, a werewolf, adopted her when she was a baby. The only people Madelyn grew up around were werewolves, Frankenstein-like beings, zombies, vampires, and all your other average storybook monsters. Except they're exactly like us. They look like us in their normal form, they talk like us, have the same technology as us. And just like us, there are good and bad creatures within each type. Tom Keifer, a Vampire, belongs to the good side. Tobias Marcaida, a Vampire in Madelyn's reoccurring nightmares, belongs to the evil side. But what happens when Madelyn falls in love with Tom and confronts her nightmares head on?
