A small poetry collection I have put together full of angst, awkward phrases, and incoherent thoughts. These poems were written in the margins of my Calculus homework, on coffee stained napkins, and on my arms when nothing else was available.

Before them we were lost; we were stuck in our twisted version of wonderland. Before them I hadn't noticed; my sister was following in my footsteps, spiralling into a dark hole. Before them I had forgotten; I'd lost myself in the drugs and isolation. I didn't know who I was and what I did know, I didn't like. 4 kids. One that is band obsessed, is a trouble maker, will most likely be caught skateboarding, jumping fences, spray painting walls, or smoking. She will always have headphones in her ears. Another one that is a popular girl, a bitch, and everyone wants to be her. Another person, that is an outcast, is most likely at the skatepark 24/7, and has no friends. A jock, that every girl is obsessed with, and it turns out he's a total jerk. This book has broken hearts, broken people, skateboarding, and a shitload of drama.

Hi, my name is Shannon Beveridge and I'm here to tell you my story. But, before you dive into the most important episodes of my life, I think it's my responsibility to tell you first that, unfortunately, this is not a fairy tale. Not even close. My story is messy, painful, intense, it's not like those romantic, cheesy and sweet love stories that people made us believe our life was going to be when we were kids. If you're expecting something like that, I'm afraid to tell you that this is not the right place for you. But, if you want to know how one person can have their heart broken over and over again by someone else, this narrative will give you everything you need.

This is a story about a girl, and her troubled way through life. Unexpected changes and overthinking led her to unhappiness, but she tries her hardest to be happy when she knows she cannot. She finds deep passion for things and learns how to care for people even when they are different, and learns to accept everyone for the way that they are, but still doesn't know how to accept herself. Do you know who you are? Or are you still trying to find yourself? The main character will be me, Mya. As we go along through out the book character will be added in. She dreamed to be a pop star since she was a little girl. But now that she's famous, everything she does may kill her career. How are these two gonna meet? A internet star and pop sensation?

This is just a little fanfic about Cari Fletcher and Shannon Beveridge meeting at JFK after Cari's horrible breakup with her ex-girlfriend. I started writing this because I fell in love with a very similar story I found here that was never finished, and I guess I needed to finish it in my own way. Everything was written with respect for everyone involved, directly or indirectly. I just want to remind readers that this is only a fanfic-nothing more than imagination. Disclaimer: English isn't my first language, and I'm not very experienced with writing in general. This is the first fic I've ever written in my life, so it might be a little cringe-but it comes from the heart.
