PoorMs
Within this book you will find a collection of poems about love and life. All of the poems will have the same structure, a structure that, personally, I find satisfying. I hope other people will too.
Each poem contains 12 lines. The even-numbered lines all rhyme with each other (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12). Lines 2, 8, and 12 must end with the same word. I don't know if it's just a personality quirk of mine, but I enjoy the repetition. It has a certain rhythm to it.
So the poems look like this:
A
B*
C
B
D
B
E
B*
F
B
G
B*
All of the Bs rhyme, but the lines with B* end in the same or very similar word.
This book contains plenty of examples if you are interested in learning more about the structure.
Either way, I hope you enjoy what you read.
