Watanuki tells Doumeki his intentions of taking over the shop. Doumeki has a lot of thoughts but voices none.

The day Watanuki has dreaded finally arrives, the death of Doumeki Shizuka. So much has been left unsaid and Watanuki wishes he'd done things differently. At least, until Doumeki appears to him in a dream.

This is the end scene of episode 3 after Doumeki and Watanuki investigate the school. Just what I thought might be going through Doumeki's head. I rewatched this episode and forgot that Yuuko made Watanuki say to Doumeki that "Watanuki thinks about you all the time and said he would die without you." Just lost my friggin mind.

This is my take on XXXHOLiC prequel i.e before Watanuki lost his memories as a price mentioned in Tsubasa Chronicles. For those only familiar with the anime, the first italics 'his' refers to Syaoran and second 'he' reference is for Clow Reed.

Watanuki tells of his plans to take over the shop and Doumeki decides to stand by his side. I just watched the live-action movie and it was surprisingly good. They certainly condensed a lot but for a two-hour movie, they did pretty good with it. And honestly, I like that Watanuki is more receptive to Doumeki and not constantly hating him. They just deserve to be together. They really seem to lay it on thick in the movie. No Himarwari crush. It's great. This is how I think that end scene SHOULD have ended. If they weren't cowards. lol

Watanuki is still determine to wait until THAT person returns... Mostly Watanuki's POV
