Formerly known as (The Chained Watcher: Retconned Ideas) Old Description: Welcome to my record of retconned possible plot ideas! !!!This is not the main story, and is completely irrelevant to the plot!!! This book is for stories I wanted to include, but that no longer fit with the plot as it stands. Stuff that got retconned, but was still interesting enough I wanted to flesh it out. So here they are! None of these are canon to the story, and its updates are going to be even more sporadic than the main book's. All these are is what-ifs that didn't make the cut. New Description: This is turning into a dumping ground for ideas that I don't think I'm willing to dedicate the time to make a whole story around, but still wrote a decent chunk of text for. Tell me. Say it, and I will." Her lips part, but no words come. I let out a sharp, bitter laugh. "You can't, can you?" I tilt her chin up again, forcing her to meet my gaze. "Because you're just as ruined as I am." And then I kiss her. Hard. Desperate. A collision of everything we've denied ourselves. They decided on peace over fighting, and the Watchers weren't happy. They decided upon a new form of torture: attachment. Time still ticked down for them, so the Watchers thought it would be interesting to send them something they'd never watch grow up: a child. They loved their new children dearly, but knew they couldn't be there with them for most of their lives. Until Grian discovered that the children had infinite time, but only one life. He found a way to get his child to send him time so he could live longer. He shared this with the other players, and they've been almost immortal ever since. The only catch was they couldn't take too much time off of their children without them getting close to death. Grian became a Timekeeper, and all the other players began working to raise their kids and make a new civilisation, a new way of life. Luckily, the Watchers were still entertained. The rest of the players? They won't be entertained much longer.

Grian, a parrot hybrid, was kidnapped from the village of Evolution by a hostile group of dragon riders known as the Watchers. He's out scouting when he gets ambushed and held hostage. One of his interrogators learns of his past as Grian and gets him cleared with help from Martyn and Jimmy. Aka all the Hermits have dragons and the Watchers get mad at runaway Grian so stuff happens. Also, I had just learned about the NATO phonetic alphabet, and idk what past me was thinking, so it's there lol.

Sarah is a young Vampire slayer guarding the hellmouth in prohibition era Cleveland. She and her precocious watcher, William, are faced with a new mystery like nothing they've ever seen: a series of vampires found restrained and missing eyes, tongues, and other limbs. To further confuse the situation, a mysterious figure is sending letters to the Watcher's Council, signing off only as "The Læch." Who is experimenting on these vampires? Is it even Sarah's job to rescue them? And can she do so without meeting the final fate which all slayers must meet someday?

I thought of this idea a few hours ago and now I'm posting it on impulse -Me, October 28th Grian, having become a Watcher at the end of Evolution, has run away to a random sanctuary after the destruction of his home world. But what will he do when his magic, the magic that's now a part of him, becomes harmful to his daily life? Will he choose to tell the truth about his identity when the members of Hermitcraft are informed of a Watcher's presence? No shipping. I forgot to say that in some sort of foreword because I started this story at midnight.

Grian had been happily playing in season 7 with some of his best friends. When he randomly gets attacked in the End, he learns of a rebellion planning to kill him, leaving Hermitcraft, Mumbo, and his subjects, Watcher and Listener alike, under a tyrant's rule. However, with this attack comes a friend. A friend long thought dead. Can Grian safely neutralize the threat, keeping himself safe in the process? When one player gets forcefully turned into a Watcher and brainwashed to the point of no return, he starts attacking servers, attempting to kill the Watcher King, Xelqua. When he attacks Hermitcraft, somewhere in the back of his mind he recognizes two of the players. Having been under the effects of the Watcher realm for so long has made it near impossible to break free from his mind's prison. Near impossible. TW: Shipping of some characters! (NOT THEIR IRL SELVES, JUST THEIR MINECRAFT PERSONAS!) There may be blood, but not will not be heavily descriptive. Potential for death! Torture! By distancing himself from the other hermits, Grian had a pretty easy time hiding the fact that he's a Watcher. But when he grows bored of Hermitcraft and decides to make a new series, Third Life, things take a turn for the worse. Grian becomes better friends with Scar, and his secrets become harder and harder to keep. The council has finally met the mysterious watcher Astaria and they have a few questions about everything she seems to know and how powerful she seems to be. Even more threats are on the horizon for the council of the Main City and they haven't seen the High Leader since before they got sent to the alternate reality.
