Xisuma finds an unknown portal in the center of the shopping district. Every hermit is invited to enter together. Grian had preferred to stay behind to work on his base, not having a good feeling about the portal. Once all the hermits go through the portal, they find out some new things about their little prankster hermit.

After the events of Secret life Grian welcomes Scar to the winners area, the area where the winners of the games wait to be sent back to their normal lives. But something is wrong, the other winners aren't there and everyone else has gone missing as well. Finding there friends leads everyone to discover why the watchers are so interested in them, and uncovers answers about the special abilities they've discovered. All relationships are platonic other than Joel and Lizzy.

Ever since the Admins, descendants of the Endermen, took control, the two former ruling races have been forgotten. "You don't know him." Xisuma's jaw tightened. "This isn't Grian." But Silly only stared back at them, unblinking. "Then where is he?" And that was the moment- the breathless, terrifying moment- when they all realized: Grian was gone. And CHRONOS had come to claim him. Zelqua is a Watcher. But in a server he was supposed to protect, a sudden glitch caused the Admin to perma-die and the Admin powers were transferred to Zelqua because the previous Admin had named Zelqua his successor should anything ever happen. After thousands of years of being a Prime Watcher, he decides to settle down and live life like a normal Player. He finds Hermitcraft and decides to live there. He uses magic to lock away his memories so they won't get in the way, but after the server ends, he is in a situation where a Player would perma-die, or if he says his Watcher name, they will come back. Grian is a Hermit that just........showed up one day. He has a mysterious past that he refuses to talk about and apparently doesn't remeber. When the server Admin, Xisuma, requests a Watcher for the server and the Watcher's tell him that there is already one on the server, X starts to suspect Grian, because he is new, and there wasn't one before he got there. When something happens and three Hermits perma-die, X knows that a Watcher can bring them back. Grian knows he used to know how to revive people, so he decides to bring back his past to help his friends. Sorry for the long description. Just started typing and went with it. -Jayden

This story is told from two POVs, Grians, and Scars Because of this there will be parts where they interact and it's essentially the same thing as from the other POV, at least the actions and things said, but what the characters think will be different ofc

Grian is in hiding, stuck in his grief and guilt after the events of Evo. When he realises that his friends have survived the wrath of the watchers, he makes a promise to never fail them again. Which is easier said then done, because as he struggles to hide his secrets, the watchers might try destroy everything again. ~ Gosh I cannot write descriptions Cover art is mine :P

The past comes back, they take what Grian held close to him, his husband Scar. He knew that this was a trap for him, but to save his husband he would do anything.

After being freed from his demise, Grian has a chance to join The Council and help his new siblings protect the servers from a creature that is a threat to everything. At the same time he lives in Hermitcraft and tries to keep his Watcher identity a secret from his new friends. But when the threat seems to be more familiar than he expected, how will things turn out? Will his past come break down the door, or will he be able to keep it out?
