Zoey, a shy and quiet girl with a strong and fierce mind, has a great passion for drawing. While she does enjoy creating something from her own mind, it's mainly because her deceased sister taught her how. However, Zoey's sister Jasmine didn't teach her how to draw just anything. She had taught her how to draw dragons. Ever since Jasmine's death in a car accident a month ago, Zoey's main happiness - and distraction - has been drawing different scenes of dragons. She treasures the skill as much as she treasures Jasmine's life, and thinks of dragons as a symbol for her sister. After another long day of school of thinking about Jasmine, all Zoey wants to do is lock herself in her room, and she decides to sleep off the sorrow. The next time she opens her eyes, however, she finds herself in a mythical world. Of dragons. The strange, unknown land is known as the territories as the three Dragon Tribes: Water, Ice, and Fire. Currently fighting a war, the Water and Ice Tribes are aligned, while the malevolent Fire Tribe continues to force attacks and injure many dragons. Just as the Tribes lose hope in the war ever ending, a prophecy comes from the Almighty Dragon that foretells of the coming of a dragonette who will bring peace to the Tribes once again. Leaving behind an egg that would take generations to hatch, but only by one with the dark dragons blood. A promise made of the dark dragons dying breath that when the time is right, will the descendant of the dark dragon during great peril be able to hatch this egg to change the tide against those of evil doing. Amara Kaine. The descendant of the dark dragon being hunted by one of evil of another descendant of another dragon. Caldir Amaro. The descendant of the fire dragon fighting for the people and his father who was killed by those of great evil. These two will cross paths, and they will defeat the evil doer and bring peace among the people at long last.

For 3,000 years, there hasn't been a Water Dragon born. Until now. Given the name Evita, the first Water Dragon in 3,000 years was locked away for the Elders to study her. The few rules the Elders told her to obey included one thing: Never touch the water. That rule was there because, though legends said Water Dragons could, none of the other dragons knew how to swim because the Water Dragons couldn't teach them. Many Dragons had tried to learn to swim themselves, but it always ended with them drowning before someone could rescue them. With this new Water Dragon, however, came a new hope. Food was running dangerously low, but the seas were still abundant in fish. Since no Dragon could swim, they couldn't fish in The Deep Waters to get to the fish. That's where Evita comes in. She was being researched so the Elders could figure out what makes Water Dragons able to swim. The one thing that will stand in their way is a little thing called...
