Her father takes some time to see his daughter but for the most part, is traveling the world for his job. As for her mom... her mom sadly passed when Ailani was 10. When she turned 14 she asked her father if she could move to Japan to attend one of the most famous hero academies, UA High School. Since Ailani had an aunt that lived in Japan and was a Pro-Hero her dad knew that his daughter would be safe while attending UA. She wants to become a hero not only because her sisters are the top heroes in Hawaii, Water Witch and Waver, but to also prove that her basic simple quirk can be used for more and put to great use. On her journey, she'll encounter many evils, new friends, and learnings on how to use her quirk.
