Sherlock and John can no longer ignore the tension between them and accept their feeling for each other

John hates the idea of soulmates. The scar covered, cursive writing of the word 'Willaim' haunts him with childhood trauma made worse by his experiences from the war. Sherlock has always denied his ability to love. The name on his wrist the only reminder that he can. When he meets John Watson he believes he may have found the only person who could make him more human. But how can he know when John won't show his soulmates name to anyone, ever.

A young man comes to Sherlock and John to find help with finding the girl he has fallen in love with and saving her from a marriage her dad has arranged ánd(!!) After Sherlock jumped, Dr. John Watson had started seeing a counselor to help with his emotional pain, but eventually, it isn't enough for John. He starts to convince himself that Sherlock is actually alive somewhere, and decides to lure him in. Soon, John begins to lose his mind and will go to any lengths to see Sherlock again.

Sherlock stood there for a moment, clearly scared, clearly breathing in John's scent like John was breathing in his. Then they closed the small space that was between their faces. John's arms wrapped around Sherlock's waist, pulling him closer. Sherlock's arms found their way into John's hair. They stayed like that for longer than they should, possibly. It didn't matter to them. Not at that moment. When they finally did break apart, Sherlock whispered, "I'd like it if you kiss me good morning that way."
