It was supposed to be a mid-year getaway for influential teenagers or children of rich parents from all parts of Nigeria. It was that annual summer camp which everyone above the age of sixteen looked forward to attending every year since its incorporation. It was Hillsview Summer Camp. ♡︎♡︎♡︎ The fourth annual Hillsview summer camp brings about things unexpected in all eight of the teenagers' lives. From the arrival of an intercontinental teenage star, to a near suicide, an addiction, and possibly an obsession, their stay is nothing like they imagined. Soon enough, they realize the meaning behind the popular saying, "Don't judge a book by its cover". Safe to say, none of them can predict the outcome of sitting together on that table the first night of camp. Surely, it is a night to remember. "Even the seemingly perfect people have that one thing which traps them" "Who would've known that all it took was fourteen days?" Do not plagiarise. I do not own the images used in this book. "They say life experiences can either make or mar a person. Well for me, it was both. Being broken and repaired, experiencing different emotions, as though I'm an emotional arcade. Life went through me, leaving scars and stars." She chuckled lightly, reminiscing her beloved. "And if you were asked to describe your life in a sentence..." She adjusted slightly on her seat. Fondling with the straps of her black spaghetti top and feigning confidence in her posture, she gave her answer. "I'd describe my life as a bed of roses, only, with so many thorns." "I guess that makes you a scarred beautiful thorned rose." ♧ ♧ ♧ Life is like a game, same as love. One wrong move, and you're done for. Well what wrong move could Sewa have done in this beautiful game of love and life? What wrong move could she have played in her emotional arcade? ♧ ♧ ♧ Started; 7 February 2022

Honours Preparatory Academy. A school well-known for it's somewhat magical scenery. The charms of it's board of directors. The amazing teachers who could do their jobs with their eyes closed. The clean-cut uniforms and the posh, well-mannered students. Every child wanted to be an honour student and any parent would literally give up anything to make sure that their children attended Honours Prep. But did they know that there were ghosts lurking around the halls, trapped behind the walls? Did they know that the students killed with just snaps of their fingers? That the teachers would do anything to keep their jobs? And that parents pushed their children farther than they could reach? Did they know of the past students that had disappeared or died by "accident"? Did they? No they did not. *** When The Queen of Honours Prep, Jumoke Adegoke, is murdered, the students are all of the same notion; that Faith Okafor killed her best friend. Faith, raked with the guilt from the dark thoughts she has been having, would stop at nothing to find the killer to clear her own name, while trying to hide her own hideous secret. When a new mystery comes into light, in the form of S.B, the anonymous cyber bully, she teams up with her archenemy, Hakeem. Together, they get steps closer to finding the killer and the secrets of other students at Honours Prep. But there are people who have tried very hard to bury these secrets and they would kill if that meant their secrets would remain only that.... A secret.

"Have you looked at yourself in the mirror?" she asks with disgust. "Don't tell me you actually like what you see?" Fairy tales talk about girls that are everything positive and bright. Gone are most of these girls. There are now girls who try to shine even just a little bit, keyword being 'try'. Facing their demons with a smile. Maybe they're still rays of sunshine, maybe not. Kemi is one of them. To people, she's all rainbows and sunshine but some days, she feels like a dark cloud covering the sun from shining. Fayokemi Adeshina has everything she needs; an amazing family that loves her, friends that support her, and of course, chocolates. Scoring almost straight A's in class while juggling being captain of the debate club. But everything is not always perfect. I don't own any of the pictures used in this story. Most of them if not all, were gotten from Pinterest. # 2 in closed off as at:28/11/22

"Pleaseee...abeg, don't start this morning oo! It won't be funny" I threatened. "And what are you gonna do about it baby?" He smirked, whispering the last word in my ear. Goosebumps arose on my skin like a mass army and the class felt suddenly cold. What the hell is happening? Why do I feel so...so... prickly? "Christ Simi" Nana whispered, wide eyed in shock, "I just called you baby and you are gushing all over. I knew you loved me" "I'm not blushing! Why would I blush because of that? Abeg shift joor" I said and hissed, then turned back to solving my past questions (which I wasn't concentrating on because I kept hearing that stupid word in my ear) "C'mon baby, you know you like me. You are just too shy and proud to admit it" he said again. "I don't like you Nana, is it that hard to get? Besides, reserve that name for your girlfriend" ********** Similola Adams is happy being back to school in the final term of the final year. Unfortunately, things are not going as she planned as she experiences cane on her first day and goes into an insult battle with her arch enemy. Then the worse of all...
