On Hiatus There's always something unusual about first love - as if tequila has burned our rational thoughts and possessed our brains. For seventeen-year-old Florence "Flora" Summer, her childhood friend, Tristan Asher, is the cheap wine she couldn't stop drinking secretly since they kissed one Christmas night years ago. But life's known for its wrong timings and for breaking the rules. So when rainbows melt in the sky and sunshine grows, the storm hits. A storm floating upon teenage interests - swirled in white secrets, grey conflicts, and black burns.
