"They say the opposite of love is indifference.
Which is unfortunate for these two because indifference between them has always been performance."
For six years, Saira Agarwal and Zohaib Raichand have existed in the same social circle while pretending the other person does not exist.
This worked perfectly.
Mostly because they stayed very far away from each other.
Unfortunately, South Delhi rich families believe deeply in three things: money, appearances, and interfering in situations that absolutely do not concern them.
So when weddings, family events, and increasingly unavoidable family circles begin forcing Saira and Zohaib back into each other's orbit, the peace they built separately starts falling apart.
Which would be manageable if their history was normal.
It is not.
Six years ago, one humiliating moment ended with hurt feelings, a hospital visit, and Zohaib changing schools.
Since then, relatives across their social circle have continued treating them like some inevitable future waiting to happen.
Their families, however, would strongly prefer that future never happens.
Saira barely remembers his face anymore.
Zohaib remembers everything.
Exactly what she said.
Exactly what she looked like.
Exactly how badly it ended.
He just acts like he doesn't.
Now they are eighteen, emotionally stubborn, surrounded by families with too much money and not enough boundaries, and rapidly discovering that unresolved history becomes significantly more dangerous once attraction enters the conversation.
Welcome to the Raichand world.
The outfits are expensive, the relationships are concerning, and absolutely nobody here knows how to communicate without causing psychological damage. 💖
