*featured on WattpadAnthologies* My words like to wander, cross and diverge At every corner of my mouth Every turn my sentences take So I might not make sense at first But let me try To hold your hand Let us walk through the maze of who I am The maze of words I've formed during those quiet days, the words that didn't know they were until now They'll flow onto the page In irregular Halt- ing Heart- beats With a free rhyming scheme, free-verse, free as a bird Yet weighed down by an illusory gown Not to confuse Not because I choose to be this way So clandestine are my words, my identity Despite the length of this journey On a paved road Hidden beneath the jumbled symbols and metaphors That speak from my core So just know that the moment you look at me from a different angle What you thought you saw May burst and shatter into a million colours Gradually Peacefully The same way white light splits into a rainbow That we can all admire Even if we don't understand We can watch, and see, and believe there's a certain beauty To all forms of art I hope You can read my stories and take these words to heart.
