Synopsis: (BASED ON A TRUE STORY)
Secluded in a luxury hotel room she once considered her sanctuary, Charlie recounts the slow, surreal unraveling of her sanity. What began as quiet isolation soon twisted into something far more sinister - a psychological experiment orchestrated by the hotel's elite, who couldn't tolerate a young Black girl living beyond their expectations. Through whispers in the walls, secret nicknames, and staged interventions disguised as "help," Charlie finds herself painted as mentally unstable by a community determined to control and erase her.
She begins to question her own mind as memories blur, time distorts, and an invisible enemy plays god with her life. She is medicated, surveilled, and removed from her room without warning - all under the guise of care. But beneath it all, she uncovers a deeper truth: this was never about concern. It was about power, envy, and racial entitlement.
As she slips further into isolation, hearing voices and doubting what's real, Charlie's sense of self begins to fracture. But even as trauma begins to wipe her memories clean, a part of her refuses to forget. The pain remains. The pattern becomes clear. And the voice that once whispered doubt now reveals hatred - toward her family, her identity, and her very existence.
Charlie realizes this isn't madness. It's manipulation.
And the first step of their experiment? Isolation.
