Haunting. The perfect word to describe Cole Knight's Christmas Eve this year. A cassette player falls out of nowhere when he attempts to get the Christmas tree out of the attic. He doesn't pay attention to him at first, but curiosity wins him over as he is stuck overnight at his grandfather's house with nothing but time to kill. He locks himself in his room to listen to it, only to find a girl speaking back to him when he spoke aloud that very night. Stuck in it is Violet Hemmingway. And as soon as Violet apparates out of the tape, Cole realises she isn't real. In fact, she is very much dead. Will Violet haunt him for eternity now that he's released her from the cassette? Holiday tradition, whether it's decorating a tree altogether, singing carols by the fire at night, or visiting family, we all have one. This family's tradition is like the movie "Christmas Vacation" they go out of their way to find the perfect family tree and cut it down and take it home with them and decorate it. But what if that tree is on an Ancient Indian Burial Ground? The ground it stands on rumored to be cursed with the presence of Wendigo? Well, let's just say some tradition is never broken. No matter what the cost. (Author's note: This is a purposely campy-ish take on the #holidayhorror challenge on Wattpad Fright. Jimmy is a complex and unusually young woman who is very sensitive and creative. but when the call comes to answer the call, her and her girlfriend, Lilly, have to answer ot to help the rest of the beach goers from being eaten by two mutant sharks. as if they want to do this in the first place, they were just trying to enjoy the fun in the sun, that is, until they hear a scream from the water. as they run to the aid of the person in trouble, they see more than two sharks around, and they see many of them. what to do? from the author of winter, looking. for Sasquatch and out of this world comes a not so water downed misadventure of horror. so put on baby shark and dive in. Separated in 3 parts but will be made into a bigger book later. :)this is book 2.
