At fourteen, I was sent to live with an unknown grandmother in an unknown place. I had every intention of hating both - the evil grandmother and the little coastal town of Fort Kochi. Yet, fate had different plans for me. In my Amachi I found family and a bond that lasted a lifetime. In Fort Kochi, I found a home. I also found my first love - Zach. But all good things come to an end. Two years later, broken heart in tow, my teenage dreams shattered, I had left Fort Kochi and never looked back. Until now. Ten years later. Twenty-six years old and a Paediatrician to boot, having to face my teenage nightmare all over again. Once again meeting the same cast and crew of 'Tara: The Teenage Years'. Would it be different this time round? Am I wiser? Um, questionable. Because how wise can you be when fate sics an ex-boyfriend on your doorstep? Having a treacherous heart that simply cannot stay within its regular lub-dub motion when I am around said ex, doesn't help matters either. And should I even mention a sexy wedding planner who is the ex of my ex? Or the fact that I, taking on a new role of undercover detective, uncovers a devious plot that would land me in fairly hot water? All this while the FIFA World Cup fever rages on. What a homecoming party it has been for me! Hi, I'm Tara and you have front row seats to my very intriguing and - okay, I'm just gonna add this - inspiring (it has its moments, I promise) story. Although, if I am being perfectly honest, it's just your average, run-of-the-mill teenage to adulthood, boy-girl drama. The difference? I tell it better. ;)

Caroline's best friend and another detective. He tries desperately to help Caroline out and find the murderer, but will he be able to catch the killer, when Caroline's life is at risk? Kaitlyn: Another self doubting detective. Insecure about herself, yet brilliant. Her only ally is her best friend Cole Briggs. But will she be able to stay her her proper, sensible self, when Cole is attacked and almost killed? All three need to catch the killer, for purposes more than just profession. Everybody has something at risk, somebody's life at risk. But what to do when the only lead is a mental patient who can't even talk? The roller coaster takes a turn in a complete new direction, and takes Caroline, Marcus and Kaitlyn along, to discover things they could've never perceived.

It was in 2008 that the story began to flow through me. I continue to be as passionate about it as I was back then. However, I do not know how long it would take to be completed. I do not know how many more volumes or chapters will be required. I update chapters only once a month, and even that doesn't happen at times. But if you would still like to experience this story, please go ahead and give it a try. I hope you enjoy it reading 'Prithvi' as much as I enjoy writing it.
