This is my collection of poems. They are like diary entries of my teenage years and signify my growth. I have been writing them for a while. Hope you enjoy it.

A girl visits a psychic in order to find her missing friend who strangely disappeared one fine day. The police have been on her trail for three months now but haven't dug up any dirt. Though logical at heart, something pulls this girl towards the occult and spirits as a voice in her head tells her it's probably worth a try. And after three long months of fear, anxiety, and worry she decides to take matters into her own hands and gives the crystal ball a shot. She doesn't want a single stone unturned. What secrets lie ahead of her, that the police couldn't uncover? Will she come out successfully? Will she come out at all? Read on to find out. " I beg your pardon?", said Chris . Bewilderment was clearly visible in his eyes. " Go away.", I said again . Chris touched my cheek, tucked a lock of hair behind my ear and lowered his face. I felt epinephrine rush through my blood vessels. " Why do you act so distant Sam? Why do you want me to go away?", he asked me softly . I could not search for the correct words. The look in his eyes was painful. " You are not my type Chris." I expected him to stamp his foot, turn away and leave the closet . I expected him to yell at me, " Dammit Sam. You are such a jerk!" or maybe " I don't wanna see your face again". But things didn't turn out that way. Chris cupped my face and planted a kiss on my forehead , leaving me astonished. " Maybe I am not your type Sam. But I surely am the best of my type.", he said before leaving the closet with one of those mischievous smirks of his. I sat down on the floor . He was not ready to go away. Life is.. an adventure. A daring adventure towards an unknown future. You take risks, you work hard and gain glory. But, its beauty depends on how much you enjoyed the journey. True though.. the journey of life is full of surprises. You meet new people, some bad, some good. You make new connections, some worth living for, some worth dying for.. They met on their journey of life, never thinking something beautiful would grow between them. That'll make them feel something they never felt before, that'll make them feel complete. But again.. what's life without turn? What's love without longing and heartbreak? [TW: amateur and cringey writing ahead, proceed with caution]

So I wrote a poem about my real life experiences dealing with Misophonia! Misophonia is basicall strong dislike or hatred of certain sounds. For example chewing, snapping gum, dripping of water, repetitive noises such as pencil tapping, etc. I just randomly wrote this poem with no intentions, however I hope that I can spread awareness about Misophonia as much as I can through it! I ll just request you all that if someone approaches you by saying that they have Misophonia and ask you to stop making certain noises then it'll be really helpful if you listen to them and help them out! That's it! That's all I want to achieve through this poem! Hope you like it! Also this poem was written unexpectedly so if there are any mistakes, I apologize! Thank you!
